Oh for A Muse of Fire


Director Jessica Ryan kickstarted The Guthrie Theater's 2020 VIrtual Benefit opened with this prologue from Henry V, featuring an all-star roster of Guthrie alums and shot entirely remotely. Mark and David sent in the entire speech, and the other actors sent four lines. Jess and her production team dug into the challenge of working to create a connection between the actors, even though they were apart.

a dynamic discussion on how personal stories impact career trajectories.

This storytelling session explored how our stories, skills, abilities, expertise, personal traits and characteristics, values, and accomplishments set us apart in the workplace.

The #giveback concert re-defines what change looks like in the digital era by seamlessly blending live theatre, digital media and interactive technology that brings together a community inspired to action.


In New York City, Broadway, TV, Film and YouTube stars come together to weave stories of strength and hope and raise funds for the groundbreaking work of Crime Victims Treatment Center, where any survivor of violence can receive life-saving treatment - completely free of charge. Over 8 years, this concert has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for survivors of violence.
